Self-evaluation is one of the most underutilized skills in American business. We have a tendency to avoid telling others the truth about their performance because we don’t understand how important it is to their success. As individual performers, we often avoid metrics based methods of performance measurement that are critical to continuous improvement and we avoid feedback because we are afraid of looking incompetent.

Coach Wooden had an amazing ability to coach others to deliver 100% of their potential. He never focused on winning and losing, only on having each individual deliver at their absolute highest level of performance. One of Coach Wooden’s keys to success is his ability to be comprehensive in his approach. A disciplined study of his framework of success will bring dozens of insights.
